Founded in 2010 by Jameson Marvin, former Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University, the Jameson Singers has become one of the premiere vocal ensembles in the Boston area. Their repertoire spans a cappella gems from the 15th to the 21st centuries, and choral-orchestral masterworks including those of Monteverdi, Schütz, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Fauré. Featuring the characteristic attributes of Dr. Marvin’s choruses, the Jameson Singers has gained critical acclaim for their excellence in intonation, unified ensemble, and inspired, communicative singing.

In June 2015 the Jameson Singers was selected to perform at the Chorus America National Conference, and in February 2016 they were selected to perform at the Eastern Division conference of the American Choral Directors Association in Boston.

The Jameson Singers presents two concerts each season. The December holiday program features seasonal texts as well as carols sung enthusiastically with the audience. The spring program ranges from sacred gems of the Renaissance and early American a cappella repertoire to major choral orchestral works.

The Jameson Singers is a member of the Greater Boston Choral Consortium, a cooperative association of diverse choral groups in the greater Boston area.
